Google Latitude
One thing that has pushed me to test an iPhone is Google scrapping their Latitude app and not replacing it with a viable alternative on iPhone. Find Friends is the IPhone equivalent and easily allows me to find where my family members are. Yes I know there are other apps that do this across platforms but this one just works and it's simple.
iPod
Apple wins this one hands down and is probably the biggest reason why most young kids end up with an iPhone. If you grew up with iTunes and an iTouch why not end up with an iPhone. Add Apple's power in education and it's no wonder so many young kids grow up to get an iPhone.
